Ok, prepare yourself, here comes a rant. The news and the internet keep harping on the alleged affair between A-Rod and Madonna and now A-Rod is being divorced by his wife. Personally, I could care less whether A-Rod and Madonna slept together or not. Madonna is like the bar slut you’ll sleep with if you’re on a major week long binge and won’t remember anything from the end of the first bottle to the time you wake up in the park with a dog pissing on you.
The reason I even bring up this subject up is that everytime they mention Madonna they connect her to Kabbalah which she supposedly follows. Kabbalah takes a lot of discipline and is mystical to it’s core. Madonna acts like you just ‘join’ Kabbalah the way one might switch from being Methodist to Baptist. Doesn’t work that way. Madonna has as much relation to mysticism as she does to Chopin. Nada.
I’m just really sick and tired of the stupid news media acting like Madonna is representative of Kabbalah. SHE’S NOT! And now the media is using the term ‘brainwashing’ everytime they report this story like Kabbalah is a cult. I wish everyone would just leave Kabbalah out of this whole mess. It has the potential to taint the good rep of real mystics.
